The mechanical systems running your aquatic facility โ pumps, filtration, UV sanitizers, heat exchangers, and chemical automation โ are complex, expensive, and require far more than routine cleaning. HydromationPM provides certified equipment specialists and smart monitoring technology that protects your capital investment and keeps your facility compliant and operational.
The Problem With General Pool Services
A commercial aquatic facility's mechanical room contains $50,000 to $300,000 worth of equipment. A lifeguard can read a test strip. A building manager can skim leaves. But neither can diagnose a failing pump impeller, test UV lamp intensity output, calibrate a variable frequency drive, analyze combustion efficiency in a gas heater, or know that your sand filter media needs replacement before your pressure readings tell you something has already failed.
Equipment Management
We are trained and equipped to service, diagnose, maintain, and monitor every major system in a commercial aquatic facility.

The pump is the heart of your facility. A failing pump doesn't just mean poor circulation โ it means chemical imbalances, filtration failure, and regulatory shutdown risk. We service single-speed and variable-speed pump systems, monitor motor amperage and performance trends, and identify wear patterns long before a failure occurs.

Sand, diatomaceous earth, and high-rate cartridge filters are the primary defense against waterborne illness. They require expert management โ not just a scheduled backwash. We monitor filter pressure differentials, assess media integrity, and manage complete media replacement programs on a data-driven schedule.

UV systems are one of the most effective tools for eliminating chlorine-resistant pathogens including Cryptosporidium โ but they are also one of the most mismanaged. UV lamp intensity degrades steadily and cannot be assessed visually. Without proper calibration and testing, your UV system may be running at a fraction of its rated efficacy.

Gas heaters and heat pumps require combustion analysis, heat exchanger cleaning, and refrigerant system service that are strictly outside the scope of general pool service. Chemical automation controllers โ which manage chlorine dosing, pH, and ORP โ require regular calibration to prevent dangerous over- or under-treatment.

Virginia's commercial pool regulations require thorough documentation of water chemistry, equipment inspections, and safety records. We generate all required compliance logs, maintain inspection-ready records, and manage your facility through the full annual lifecycle โ from spring startup through winterization.
Smart Maintenance Platform
All equipment we manage is tracked in our Smart Maintenance Platform. You get a real-time dashboard showing each system's health score, service history, upcoming maintenance, and projected end-of-life โ so you can plan capital budgets and avoid emergency expenses.
